Stacy Alese began working in retail sales and management for 17 years and founded the Oakmont Candle Company in 1999. Stacy's love of fragrance and her desire to develop a product that is both of premium quality and safe to burn inspired her to create the company.

In 1999, there were very few soy candles on the market; particularly not many made of premium quality Stacy desired, or showcased in the elegant way she envisioned. Stacy experimented with many different soy wax formulas until she perfected the optimum burn time and superior fragrance combination that make Oakmont Candle Company the premier soy candle manufacturer that it is.
